Why Was UMPS Created?
UMPS was founded to address a gap in pre-health student resources at UW-Madison. Many students felt uncertain about their healthcare career path, lacked access to professionals in their fields of interest, and wanted to build community with peers pursuing similar goals.
We believe that healthcare is more than just medicine. There are incredible opportunities in dentistry, nursing, pharmacy, public health, physical therapy, and many other fields. UMPS celebrates this diversity and helps students find their unique path.
By bringing together students, professionals, and mentors, we create a supportive environment where everyone can explore, learn, and grow.
